Principal’s message:

I am pleased to announce the dates for the start of next (Fall) semester!  On June 20th 2010, the Islamic Sunday School held its last day of classes and final exams.  We had a wonderful year, filled with field trips, plays, teacher seminars, assemblies, sports, delicious and nutritious lunches, games and so much more!  We ended the semester with an exciting  awards ceremony at a nearby park in Mira Mesa, where we had pizza, desserts and lots of fun in the sun!  Thanks for everyone who came out to support the school, staff, and most of all, the students.  You can view photos of some of our activities in our online gallery.

Additionally, I would like to thank and recognize my supportive and dedicated staff and teachers: Amir Ali Etemazadeh, Sayed Faisal, Ali Jamaleddine, Mr. Ali Afshan, Mr. Mohammad Shahangian, who taught for the past 3 year, Abas Shah who taught for 2 years, Mariam Nouriddine, Roya Afshan, Nargis Sakha and Maya Fakhrriddine.  I would also like to welcome our newest teachers/substitutes to our team: Kavon Iraniha and  Ali and Khadijah Khaki.

 
This past year we made a lot of structural and substantive changes to our classes/school.  Some of those changes included the addition of assessment tests for placement in the appropriate level, the use of AV tools and technology in class instruction, implementation of creative teaching methods, online registration, etc.  We accept ages 5 to 22 in any of our classes (Quran, History, and Jurisprudence/Islamic Law). 
 
Finally, as the Holy month of Ramadhan approaches us, I would like to encourage everyone to enroll themselves or their children in our program. The first day of classes will begin on Sunday, the 26th of September at 10:00am and online registration will begin on Sunday, August First and close on Sunday the 12th of September.  Tuition is $50.00 per student, per month.  It covers textbooks, school supplies, assembly, snack and lunch programs and most field trips.
